Artist Statement
The 'FXXT IT' series are 10 acrylic blocks engraved with texts of stories of my very personal life. 10 topics of the societal norm that bothers me a lot. The illegible texts reflect the oppression of us are being unheard. The full stories shall only be revealed once the buyer purchases the piece and disassemble the block. The subtlety of the artwork adds a layer of mystery and meaning to it. And I love making art with such subtle messages embeded.

Artist Statement
As a graduate architect, I always wonder how international fast-food chains have relentlessly spread their kingdom over the globe. Yet, the fast-food menu is slightly tweaked to serve the native palette in different countries. We have our bespoke menu to serve the Malaysian’s palette, but sadly, the beautiful vernacular architecture is substituted by the international style architecture - the boxes. The artwork is a fantasy of what local flavour could be injected into not only in the food but in architecture as well.
